Neill Blomkamp is the Bestest

Neill Blomkamp, for anyone who doesn't know, is a wicked Canadian director who has made lots of great shorts. Alive in Joberg, Tetra Vaal and Tempbot are just three of a bunch.

More recently Blomkamp has made all of the Halo shorts. Arms Race (HD), Combat: Part 1 (HD) and Combat: Part 2 (HD). He has made a few others but these ones are my favourites.

For these shorts Weta Workshop made a scale, fully working Warthog. It's a real thing of beauty. Head to halo.bungie.org and you can see some good behind the scenes stills from Combat or watch this clip from College Humor where some of the Weta guys are driving the Warthog.

I'm EMPLOYED

I am now officially employed by Global Media Agency to do graphic design, animation and film editing.

My blog is working!

Well more important than the blog working was getting it to match the rest of my site. I don't know anything about "templates" but it seems to have worked out in the end.

Test time, is this working?
